After Dante Jr. was diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (Autism), we wanted to do something to help raise awareness and decided to start BikingForAutism & BMX4AUTISM. We wanted to do something for other children’s charities as well so we be expanding to include BMX4Charity effort as well.
Mission Statement:
Create a greater Awareness for Autism and other children’s charities within the cycling community and beyond while raising funds for charitable causes.
What we do:
Raise funds to build and gift bicycles to underprivileged children and needy families!
In addition we also attend events and shows to help raise awareness and funds for local children’s causes and/or charities. We do not charge any fees for our services and we do not take a percentage of any of the proceeds generated in the name of the cause and/or charity we are representing during the event. Our efforts are solely funded by our sponsors, the charitable donations of our supporters and the selling of t-shirts, wristbands and other fundraising items at our display booth and online.
All donations made through Paypal go directly towards supporting our charitable efforts and are use to cover administration costs, attend events and shows (booth space fees), fund charity rides etc… (surplus funds will be donated to Autism and other Children’s charities)
We need your support:
We began on this journey with the intention of making this our life’s work and we have put everything we have both financially and emotionally into the effort and are now depending on the charitable nature of others to help fund and push us forward.
